Learnership Support Systems (LSS) is a Level Four Contributor Exempted Micro Enterprise offering ETD Practitioner related training.

The focus of the company is to support organisations in the implementation of Learnerships and Skills Programmes. An essential element of the implementation is competent Assessors, Moderators, Facilitators, Coaches and Material Developers. LSS has developed a tried and tested methodology with which to develop competent Assessors and Moderators. LSS has become known for the quality and attention to detail as well as the individual support given to its learners.

The owner of LSS, Frikkie van Tonder, is registered with the South African board of  Personnel Practitioners as an HR Practitioner. He has received his diploma in Education, Training and Development in April 2003 and his Masters certificate in Human Resource Management in  February 1994 at the Rand Afrikaans University.

Frikkie has also qualified as an internal auditor with SAATCA in July 2001. He is a qualified Assessor, Facilitator and Moderator and is registered with the ETDPSETA Reg No. AVAN3751 as Assessor and MVA 10590 as Moderator.

LSS was registered in September 2002 and started off as a Licensee of Assessment College.  This licence gave us valuable experience in all the aspects of training as well as the verification of training providers.  We have been involved in the site verification visits of various companies under the Services Seta as wel as conducting external moderations for the Seta.

We have been able to present training in Mosambique, Namibia and in Oman in the Emirates.

Since November 2009 LSS has been fully accreditd by the ETDPSETA to offer three full qualifications.  These are:

1.  FET Certificate in Occupational Directed Education, Training & Development Practices NQF 4

2.  National Certificate in Occupational Directed Education, Training & Development Practices NQF 5

3.  National Diploma in Occupational Directed Education, Training & Development Practices NQF 5

LSS does not have premises where learners have to go to for training.  We bring the training to our clients.  We offer our training at the venues of our clients at a time that suits them.  This in itself is a great cost saving initiative for our clients.We can start our qualification programmes any time of the year whenever it suits the clients and are flexible when it comes to adjusting the study school programme to work around production pressures without compromising the quality of the training.
