The role of the Evidence Facilitator
The purpose of the ECF is to assist learners and RPL candidates to collect evidence of competence to enhance the summative assessment process. The ECF supports the Assessors greatly by preparing the learners for their assessments. Ideal Evidence Facilitators are qualified artisans who are qualified and experienced in the field in which the learners have to be assessed.
Assessment
During the workshop learners are given the opportunity to collect evidence for their portfolios. The portfolio is submitted to LSS for assessment and as soon as the Learner-Moderator is found competent, learners will receive a letter and assessment report indicating their competence declaration. Assessment College will issue a certificate of competence and apply for endorsement from the ETDP SETA. The certificate is nationally accepted by all ETQA’s should you wish to register as a moderator.
